Goodbye Mocha Kitty...

Here's Mocha sleeping at my feet under the computer desk in better days...
The time has come to say goodbye to our kitty, Mocha.  She had a stroke about a month ago and the poor thing had lost so much weight and couldn't groom herself.  She stumbled around when she walked & was blind in one eye, due to the stroke affecting her left side.  She was 17 and it just took too much out of her.  It was such a painful decision, but my hubby & I decided it was time to put her to sleep.  Our two kids that live here came to say goodbye to her yesterday & this morning.  With all our children's blessings, we took her to the Humane Society today.  I held her in my lap as we drove the short distance and cried.  She was such a sweet cat and had a long, good life, our daughter pointed out.  She also said that the move would likely upset her so much that she would die in transit, which is probably true.  It doesn't make it any easier, tho.  She will forever remain in our hearts...Goodbye Mocha...

Heartfelt Blessings,
Cindy

I know that this was probably the hardest thing you ever had to do, but it was the right thing given the circumstances. I really believe that if Mocha could speak, she would have thanked you for all the love, support and kindness given to her through the years. She would have also thanked you for ending the pain she may have been in. You did the right thing, although I know it took everything inside you to go through with it.
Years ago we had to do the same thing, it's not easy. Char

I am so sorry Cindy for your loss. NOTHING makes that easier, I know. They bring us such joy, that's their little mission on this earth I feel. It does get easier, but just takes time. May your heart heal quickly. Thank you for finding me and entering my contest, best of luck. Take care, Riki

It was super hard for me to come over and read this.. as we have just lost our kitty last monday. It vanished.. and my children have been crying all week. It looks similar to your cat.. and my heart goes out to you...I feel your pain!

I am sorry.

Thanks for visiting my blog. It's always fun to meet new friends...
As far as my organizing goes... mine is not a business.. just a hobby. I have little children... and want to be home for now.. but one day I might get into decorating, cleaning and organizing for people. My classes started by word of mouth.. and it went on!

My heart goes out to you.. with your loss.
May the Lord bless you with comfort. (hugs)

I am so sorry for the loss of your kitty. Children make it so much harder to deal with. I remember we had a kitty that got ran over & the neighbor came & told us. Our eldest was heartbroken & wanted to help bury him. It was so hard!
Thank you for responding to my questions & you are doing the MOST IMPORTANT job in the world. I did the same with our kids. Making memories with our kids last a lifetime; and they remember as they get older.
Blessings,
Cindy

I am so happy the magazine arrived and you are enjoying it. This is the first addition to hit the bookstores and I agree, it's beautiful. The second edition will be out before Mother's Day. Enjoy Cindy and have a great week, Char
