Anniversary trip full of camping, beachcombing, antiquing, and more...

Our 33rd Anniversary camping trip is over but not forgotten.  What a wonderful five days of relaxation, mixed with some shopping, beach-combing, hiking, campfires, walking our new little dog, Sophie, and just being in nature.  I will capture the moments in pictures and leave the rest untouched in our memories.

This is a beautiful spot on our drive that I had to take a picture of.  It is just over the mountains from Central Oregon on the McKenzie side towards Eugene.

This is our new doggie, Sophie, sitting between my hubby and I on the 5 hr. drive to Florence.  She had just been napping...

This is the beach when we arrived, shrouded in fog, mild temperature, and no wind.  So peaceful!

Someone's creation on the beach.

Our camp spot was on the left of this picture.

Flowers in bloom...

Wild Iris
Rhododendron
Foxglove

A hiking trail we enjoyed through the lush greenery.

 A bridge along our path...

Lots of salamanders!

Sophie turning to check on me... She kept a watchful eye.  She made sure she was in between my hubby and I along the path.  I kept stopping and picking up moss for my nest projects...  I was never out of breath... no not me!!

An anniversary surprise from my beloved husband... he's a keeper!

I couldn't resist another pic... they lasted the whole trip.  What a way to camp... with roses as the centerpiece!

And for some treasures I found in antique and thrift stores...

With some ocean treasures sprinkled in...

I have so much more I could share, but I think those are better left for us to remember.  And after all is said and done, it was a wonderful anniversary and I am so thankful for all the blessings in my life... my husband, my kids, the wonderful beauty all around us that we get to enjoy on this earth.  May you find the beauty in your life and celebrate your blessings with the ones you love.

Blessings,
Cindy
