Wonderful Wedding and finished spoon project... Comments appreciated!

After many months of procrastination (I blogged about these in June!) I finally got my nesting spoons done and ready to bag!  I really am pleased with how they turned out.  I took advice about adding wire and decided some beads & bling would be fun.  I redid the tags also.  I had even more fun & made some with seashells too.  Now the most fun part... pricing... NOT!  LOL!

Blues...

Greens...

Seashells...

My favorite!

How do you like my full size hand embroidered table cloth I got at a garage sale for $2??!!  It is in exquisite condition and I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.

On to the wedding...
Our son, Nathaniel married his beautiful bride, Jessica on Saturday.  It was a wonderful day with some glitches...for one, the minister was sick & arrived one hour late!  It makes a memory we'll never forget, after the stress of the moment is over!  There always has to be something happen that doesn't go as planned!  The weather was perfect for October and there were many family & friends that shared in Nathan & Jessica's special day.  It is such a blessing to meet people that your children know in their every day lives that tell you great things about your kids!  There were several people who told my husband and I about how special our son is to them.  We are blessed to have a new daughter-in-love to join our family.  It was a day full of love, merriment, making memories, and many blessings.   May your week be filled with such as these...

Blessings,
Cindy

I love the spoons Miss Cindy! OHMY GOSH! LOVE THEM ALL!

Congrats on your son's wedding! On our son's wedding day the pastor left town without notice and had his associate fill in. (Not good in my opinion!) The rehearsal was terrible as the fill-in kept forgetting their names. So...we called a long-time pastor friend to replace him...saved the day!

I've entered you into my giveaway! :)

Cindy, I knew you'd get back to these!! You did an amazing job, I think they look fantastic, love the wire and bead additions. Your favorite is my favorite too. I think it must be the round shape..is it small ladel?

So sweet to hear about your son's wedding, pictures in the future perhaps?? They are so stressful though, especially when things do go quite as planned. It sounds to me like there was another 'plan' you didn't know about and that was having your long time friend participate in the ceremony! Congrats!

Hi Cindy,
I love these little spoons and the nests that sit in them. They are just perfect and I wouldn't mind owning one. I will have to check to see if you sell them and where.
The shells are sweet too, but there is just something about a great nest!
Thank you so much for leaving me such nice comments and for following. I also am following you as I find your blog a complete pleasure. Char

As for your son's wedding, sometimes things just don't seem to go the way we want them, but it all came together in the end and love prevails. I have no doubt your son is loved by many and now your wonderful family has grown by one. What a delight, Char

Oh Cindy they are BEAUTIFUL!

Congrats to your son and new DIL! How exciting...When my husband and I got married 22 years ago, the Pastor didn't get sick but my husband came down with the flu on our honeymoon. I had to drive us home, I remember him looking green! Nothing like a wedding story!

God bless you all!
